Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. Who we are
Midnight Sounds runs midnightsoundsradio.com. We protect the personal data of everyone who uses the website, wherever they are.
2. Data we collect
- When you email us: your name or artist name, email address, the links and music you send, and anything else you include in your message.
- When you use the Contact or Submit music forms: the details you type (name or artist name, email, country, links to your music and profile, the service you choose and its details). To stop spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, and we keep a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address (never the address itself) to limit how many forms can be sent in an hour. The forms are stored on Cloudflare and the confirmation emails are sent through Resend.
- If we accept your track and you pay: the payment is made on PayPal, under PayPal’s own privacy policy. We receive the payment confirmation and the screenshot you send us (name, email, amount and reference), never your card or bank details.
- When you visit the website: technical data that every website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our hosting and security providers use it to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.
- Preferences saved in your browser: the language you chose and the player volume. They stay on your device.
- Advertising: this website shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may collect data such as your IP address, device identifiers and the pages you visit, using cookies or similar technologies. See section 5.
We don’t use analytics cookies.
3. How we use your data
- To listen to and answer your submissions and messages, and to arrange the services you book.
- To keep the website working and secure.
- To show ads that help keep Midnight Sounds free (through Google, see section 5).
We don’t sell your data. Midnight Sounds doesn’t receive your personal data from Google’s ads.
4. Cookies and players
- ms_lang: remembers the language you chose, for one year.
- Volume: saved in your browser so the player keeps your setting.
- SoundCloud, YouTube and Spotify: the players load only when you press play or open a playlist. From that moment those services may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.
5. Advertising (Google AdSense)
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
- You can turn off personalized advertising in Google’s My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some other vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- If you’re in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a message certified by Google before using cookies for advertising. You can accept, reject or choose, and change your choice at any time from the “Privacy and cookie settings” link that appears on the website.
- If you don’t consent, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use cookies only for things like frequency capping and fraud prevention.
6. How long we keep it
We keep emails and submissions while they’re useful for answering you or for the relationship with your music, and delete them when you ask.
7. Your rights
Under Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Write to info@midnightsoundsradio.com and we’ll reply as soon as possible.
8. Security
We use secure connections (HTTPS) and protection against attacks to keep the website and your data safe.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
10. Contact
